Self-hardware company launches "Safety Production Month" activity in 2023

"I announce that the 2023 limited space accident emergency drill will begin now!" Following the order from Hu Qiming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Self-hardening Company, the drill personnel started wearing protective equipment, ventilation testing, handling work tickets, rescuing personnel from poisoning, and sealing off the site. The operation steps and emergency rescue procedures in a limited space were fully practiced in all aspects, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, leakage plugging and hazard elimination, operation completion and acceptance, etc., which also announced the end of the 2023 "Safety Production Month" activity of Zihard Company.

June this year is the 22nd "Safety Production Month" in the country. Zigong Cemented Carbide Co., Ltd. closely focused on this year's theme of "Everyone pays attention to safety and everyone knows how to respond to emergencies" and combined with the company's actual situation, launched a series of distinctive activities and effective activities.

The first is to strengthen publicity and learning and create a safety culture atmosphere. Taking advantage of the opportunity of the self-hardware company to create a national safety culture demonstration enterprise, the company's leadership team was led by the party committee secretary of the self-hardware company, the middle-level leaders were led by the general manager of the self-hardware company, and the deputy director of safety led the employee representatives to conduct safety oaths and signatures, taking the lead in promoting safety. The "Safety Production Month" event kicked off. The leaders of the self-hardening company took the lead in studying General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on production safety and writing their thoughts and experiences. They went to various contact units to give safety lessons in total 11 times. Each unit sets up safety production month promotional display boards and banners to create an atmosphere. The Safety and Environmental Protection Department of the self-hardware company continued to push content such as "case explanations" and hazardous operation safety management through the WeChat public account for a total of 19 issues, and organized each team to use pre-class meetings to learn. In conjunction with the "6.15 Safety Consultation Day", a total of 48 middle-level cadres, assistants and safety officers were organized to carry out safety production education training and assessment. The "safe house" was used to carry out 6 sessions of hazardous operations and team experiential training, with a total of 150 people participating. Each team will carry out various forms of safety training activities before the shift and conduct training and assessment of job safety operating procedures for all operators.

The second is to focus on the investigation of hidden dangers of major accidents and carry out the "Five Leads" work of the main responsible persons. The 3rd Safety Committee meeting of Zhihe Company focused on studying the newly released "Standards for Determining Major Accident Hazards in the Industrial and Trade Industry". The leaders of the self-hardware company took the lead in carrying out inspections of major accident hazards, safety management of hazardous operations, safety management of relevant parties, and performance of safety checklists by the main persons in charge of each unit. The problems identified were discussed at the fourth safety committee meeting of the self-hardware company. The report was made and combined with recent domestic cases, using the cases as a mirror and the law as the basis to draw inferences from one instance to other cases.

The third is to organize emergency drill training to improve the emergency response capabilities of all employees. All 2,571 on-the-job employees were urged to participate in Kuaishou’s “Emergency Escape Training Camp” activities and all received completion certificates. They also filmed and produced 10 emergency escape videos to participate in Kuaishou performances. All units were urged to complete all 59 on-site disposal plans and 3 special emergency plan drills for limited space, fire and explosion, and hazardous chemical leakage, with a total of 5,806 people participating.

The fourth is to mobilize employees to participate extensively and carry out special activities. The "Everyone Talks About Production Safety" activity was carried out, and various units of the self-hardware company shot a total of 22 short videos on various safety and emergency situations. All 2,571 people were organized to participate in the "Ankang Cup" competition, safety training was conducted for all 36 forklift drivers and a competition in theory and safe operation skills was organized, and 76 people from 19 teams were organized to participate in the fire sports meeting.
